In 1947 Renée & Louis Landanger, just married, decided to unify their skills to create the first surgical item manufacturing company.

Louis Landanger began the tradition of visiting hospitals and working directly with clinicians in operating rooms and sterilization departments…

With a wealth of experience as a qualified worker specialized in surgical instrumentation and investment in relationships, he presented the same ‘catalogue’ as other merchants, but with an asset that distinguished him from other merchants.

Louis Landanger manufactured orders by hand, inquired about detailed needs, listened to specific demands and suggestions, and returned home at the end of each week to begin developing solutions to meet his customer’s needs.

Renée Landanger revealed a strong and natural gift for management. 
From the beginning, she knew how to leverage her husband’s technical and trading skills to build relationships and customer rapport.

Both Louis and Renée inspired the spirit of generosity and proximity as the only method to build a brand and manage their company.

Get specialized in a field where we aim to become, as for general instrumentation, the reference.

2006  LANDANGER put in place the Datamatrix on all instruments.

Offer the possibility to hospital services to integrate traceability to instruments.

2007  LANDANGER innovates & creates several patents, and publishes 2 specialized catalogues.

2008  LANDANGER 1st surgical instruments manufacturer and distributor gets into Endoscopy.

2010  LANDANGER publishes 2 specialized catalogues. One is Arthroscopy, the second is Sterilization.
